Went for the class (gals) steamboat dinner last night at Jia Qian's house.
Her house is a wonderful combination of big + cosy. Her family is loving and fun. And is really loaded. Some people have it all. Is envy stewing in the stomach? Let's just leave it to good karma. ^^
I went past Phua Chu Kang's house with the eagle in flight statue on the left pillar. Ooooo...
And walked right into an invisible wall. The tenacity of first impressions (or one tenth). It's not that there were hurting remarks. They are all fundamentally good and nice people. I struggled against the barrier to no avail. I couldnt reach out to them. They wouldnt hear me. The same steely stares. The treatment of empty air.
I went back home feeling bruised emotionally. And i thought i have become stronger. But it just serves as a painful reminder to not let this happen again. Damn it. Never again.
I know now not to force things. If you dont belong, arent acknowledged or accepted, then why bother in the first place? It will only hurt more. There are a few billion people on this planet. The possibilities are endless. I pray that i will meet them soon. People who will treasure me, and i, them. If they are somewhere near, let our paths cross someday. If they are far away, bring them here on a plane.
And for the precious few who are already by my side, know that you have my utmost support all the way. :)

The journey to Self wasnt meant to be pebble free.
(i have finally signed up for a jap course! :D Starts this thursday at a nearby CC. It's a step forward to my future plans! And they are great, motivating ones. I shall work towards them with zeal. At last, something to pour my passions into. Gambatte!!!)
