Im tired.
After the 1.5hr jog today, which was actually a 4/5 slow walk, i came back feeling better.
Suddenly thought of Dina as i jogged past her condo, so i msged her. Ah i wish to talk to her again! But she is already working full time as an lab asst/ accountant (the POA pro at work! ^^). Though we are almost acquaintances, i find that we are very similar. The no. of children, gender and roughly the same age in her family is the same as mine!! ie elder sis, bro, her, lil sis. She likes anime too but not the chi type, prefering eng subs anytime (like me ^^). She's a Virgo, my ascendant (aka the inner me. Im actually a mix of Virgo n Libra for my ascendant. Or so my friendly amateur astrologer told me). I really want to further our relations, now that im in the mood. Dunno y sometimes i shun social contact but other times i stalk people. Now im in the stalk-y mood! ^o^
Back to my jogging experience! haha. It had hidden meanings. At first i thought it wont rain cuz there was some sunlight. But the infamous capriciousness of weather deemed it timely when i was almost reaching my jogging haven, an ulu former plane training track surrounded by hills, trees, expressway, and a sec sch (wah its really true tat e sch has many ah lians. And its affiliated to SA! saw some of them in the first 3 mth of '06 on 966. My fellow woodlanders ^^ a rare sighting in SA. Felt like welcoming them with open arms. But of course i was still clam-y last yr :(( ) Shall try to upload pics of tat wonderfully peaceful place. Tink i got babble bout tat place before. haha. Its the place to go when im looking for some answer
Anyway, so i was almost reaching the haven after walking for bout 1-2km, when the first drops of rain started. I was caught. Should i go back after travelling for so long?? What if the rain becomes bigger? So i crossed the road, planning to run back under the sheltar of the HDBs. After a few metres, i doubled back. Heck lah, i tot, rain abit nvm lah. So near already. So i continued to walk to the haven. The rain did become a lil heavier. But i forged ahead. Just pass this bend and i will start to run. Halfway through the straight part of the runway, it stopped raining. The sun shone through after. (and corrinne may's The Answer is playing now on my WMP while i type. My fav song from her latest album. tok bout fate haha.) Some indication of my present predicament??
2 rounds of walking later, i cant tahan anymore and sat down on the tarmac. And looked at the dense, dark clouds, with the sunlight piercing through at some parts. And i gained solace for those precious moments from this maddeing job chase of mine.
Was looking thru Recruit just now. Seem like got lots of temp jobs around the island. So y isnt anybody calling me? :( decided to call Just Education tml morn. Cant wait le lah. Ng Min's gonna go for a interview for some job in SIA. But i need to noe the details ie do wat, pay wat. Visited the website just now. Didnt find anything for lowly temps like me.
But the air stewardess recruitment drive, with the walk in interview on the 6th & 7th of Jan, haha ie today n tml, at some intimidatingly posh hotel. Every gals dream of being a kong zhong xiao jie filrted thru my mind. Peeked at the application form. I tink im 1.58m?? My vision not gd, but i can swim? ^^ But ive got a serious overbite (while looking at the ad's model's white perfect teeth). Then i went to my room's toilet and pulled up my hair n took down my specs and grinned to myself. I think i have The Look? After switching off the light, Reality knocked on my befuddled head. Hello? U are only looking for a job to fill ur hols till like june gal, and u surely cant get past their rigourous selection tests and interviews. Arent interviews the bane of ur fledgeling career?? I sighed. Oh well..
Wah my eyes are really suan now. Tink i take a few more tests at tickle.com (was finding a career test but am happily diverted ^^), look for a typing speed tester website, then sleep le. The jog has cured me of my insomnia tonight. Hmmm but i wanna watch Ice Age dvd! x_x
